News Release -> Area Business Owner to Present Successful Acquisition Integrations Seminar at FVTC

(Green Bay, Wis.) September 19, 2006 – As many as 75% of mergers and acquisitions do not reach their projected business objectives, or fail completely. David Yeghiaian, president and owner of Unique Business Solutions, will present a seminar called “Successful Acquisition Integration: Process & People,” at Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC). The session will focus on the development of a merger and acquisition field guide, leadership development opportunities through integrations, and maximizing productivity and profitability via a merger and acquisition playbook.
Targeted for CEOs, business development leaders, and those interested in changing their business outlook with strategy, people and customers; Yeghiaian will share information about how to achieve a successful integration through specific processes and tools. Participants will learn the importance of culture and people related to acquisitions, how to prepare an effective communication plan and strategy, how to train people and prepare them for leadership development opportunities, and how to maximize profitability.
Fox Valley Technical College is holding this session on October 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event is $119 and participants receive 0.3 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
